Michael Paige’s romance music and love songs cross over from Pop/Adult Contemporary to International Romantic Contemporary, which is why he’s earned the title of the New Voice of Romance.” His current CD, “Michael Paige,” is filled with both English and Spanish romance music, love songs, which fit into every category of romantic music possible, as well as, dance and Latin influenced music. He sings in six languages and is working on a new CD that will be recorded in Spanish. Michael Paige has surrounded himself with some of the top artists and producers in music industry such as:
- The music producer, Tony Smith, who first began working with Lee Greenwood in Nashville, has helped Michael to pull from his Latin roots and create love songs and romance music filled with powerful romantic music melodies. He has also worked on various other projects with Dolly Parton, Barbra Streisand, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston and Johnny Mathis.
- World-renowned guitarist, Michael Thompson who worked with Quincy Jones on his Q’s Juke Joint album has worked with Michael Paige on a number of his songs, including the Spanish love song Sin Ti, including several other love songs, and the up beat romance music of the great song Angel of Paradise.
- The songwriter for Madonna's La Isla Bonita, Bruce Gaitsch, helped Michael capture the romantic Spanish voice that you can hear through songs like Aqui Esperando and Rien Que Toi, which fit right into the styling of Michael’s romantic music.
- Guitarist, Steve Farris who has played for Eddie Money and Celine Dion worked with Michael to pull in some of the strong Euro-Middle Eastern sounds and capture that romance music sound, when he played guitar on Michael's song Dance. Steve Farris also founded the group, Mr. Mister.
- Amy Foster-Gillies, daughter of Grammy Award winning record producer, David Foster, has written songs for Eric Benet, Diana Krall, Michael Buble, Andre Bocelli and now, Michael Paige. Her words spoke through him in the passionate love song, For You.
- Linda Thompson, who was nominated for both an Oscar and a Grammy for her song in the movie, “Bodyguard,” and won an Emmy for Outstanding Music and Lyrics in the “Concert for World Children’s Day” in 2002 has guided and motivated Michael, and has encouraged him to continue making music with that romance music sound.
